Have you ever wondered what greets the Red Cross disaster workers when they arrive at a scene? Or how someone’s life is impacted because a neighbor – or even a stranger—spent an afternoon learning CPR? I am sure you will be surprised to learn the variety of ways that the volunteers and staff of the American Red Cross of the Susquehanna Valley are working to help our neighbors and to make our community safer.

At the Red Cross “Behind the Scenes” program, you will have an opportunity to have lunch with staff and volunteers, tour the facilities, learn about core Red Cross programs and discover how the Red Cross makes a difference in our community.

This event is free, and includes a light lunch, and there is no obligation to donate or volunteer—we simply want to meet you and answer questions you may have about the Red Cross.
