INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

The American Red Cross of the Susquehanna Valley is pleased to offer a non-paid internship program for individuals wishing to receive practical work experience or explore a particular career field. Most internship positions are available year round
and time commitments vary by opportunity. Additional positions may be developed
to suit your particular career field or area of interest. Opportunities are available
at each of our three offices in Harrisburg, Lancaster and Lewistown.

The purpose of an internship program with the local Red Cross is to provide qualified candidates a valuable internship experience that places learning as the top priority. We emphasize meaningful, challenging and professional work under the supervision
of a caring manager.

In the cover letter, please include the goals of your internship, the type of service you would like to be doing as a part of your internship (i.e. teaching, administrative duties, research, casework, etc.) and your previous experience with the desired service opportunity.
