YOU CAN HELP
your neighbors whenever disaster strikes...
through your local chapter of
the American Red Cross!
Local volunteers and staff of the American Red Cross of the Susquehanna Valley respond to disasters, such as fires or floods, here at home every 48 hours, on average, providing food, clothing and shelter to your neighbors who have been displaced from or lost their homes.
You can ensure that your neighbors’ needs are met by supporting the American Red Cross disaster response and lifesaving health and safety services when you become a member of The American Red Cross Neighbors Helping Neighbors Society
The American Red Cross Neighbors Helping Neighbors Society is a program that electronically transfers your donation directly from your checking, savings or credit card account to the American Red Cross on a monthly basis. Neighbors Helping Neighbors Society members provide the local Red Cross with a steady and consistent source of income. These gifts provide the Red Cross with resources to be prepared for disasters while currently maintaining exisiting programs and making available new services in our community. In addition, your monthly donation will allow the Red Cross to keep its fundraising and administrative costs at a minimum.
