Brickyard Event Brings in $2,200 for Haiti Relief

The Red Cross Club Red and the Brickyard gave people an opportunity to support relief efforts in Haiti.  And many people responded. 

At the January 23 fundraiser held at the Brickyard Restaurant and Sports Bar in Lancaster, the Club Red raised over $2,200.   Patrons could purchase a bracelet at the door for $5.00 for drink specials. The best part: 100% of the proceeds we collected from the bracelets were donated. In addition, the Brickyard donated 10% of food sales from anyone with a bracelet.  The fundraiser was coordinated by Club Red (our volunteer group for young adults in the Red Cross) to bring relief to the people affected by the tragic earthquake in Haiti.

Our thanks to the Brickyard for hosting the event and to everyone who participated.  Great job Club Red!
