LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Preparing today's youth to be tomorrow's leaders.

  • Cross-Trainers
Cross-Trainers are students (in grades 7-12) and adults who present Red Cross education programs in local elementary schools and to community organizations. Cross-Trainers serve their communities by teaching disaster education, health & safety or first aid classes.
  • Red Cross Clubs

Red Cross Clubs are school-based service clubs that meet to plan and participate in Red Cross service projects and community events. Clubs are run by interested students, and need a teacher or administrator to facilitate meetings and act as the connection between the club and your local Red Cross Chapter.

Clubs meet whenever best for the school and the students. Many clubs meet during a built-in club period during the school day, and others without club periods meet before or after school, however often they see suitable.  Contact your local Red Cross for more information and help in starting a club at your school!
