RETIRED SENIOR
VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

We have a spot for you in the Lancaster and Lebanon counties' Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)! As an RSVP volunteer, you will be a member of an active group of adults 55 and over. Americans who volunteer are healthier, feel greater purpose in their lives and have higher self-esteem.

RSVP provides organizations and local agencies (also known as volunteer stations) with the best volunteers. There is a variety of ways you can use your talents to help others: Tutor students, lead museum tours, serve meals, aid ill patients, usher patrons and much more. Your skills and interests will be matched with community needs in Lancaster and Lebanon counties.

Commitment

Time is precious. With RSVP, you decide how often you serve. You may choose to serve on a scheduled basis or with our once-and-done projects through the Special Order Service (SOS) program.

Benefits

There are several benefits to joining RSVP:

  • Accident and liability insurance while en route or at volunteer site
  • Meeting people from across Lancaster and Lebanon counties
  • Volunteer recognition events
  • Social functions
  • Transportation assistance
  • Quarterly Giving Times newsletter
Becoming an RSVP volunteer is easy! Pick up the phone to begin what will be the experience of a lifetime! Call 299-5561 (in Lancaster County) or 273-2671 (in Lebanon County) today!
