BLOOD SERVICES OPPORTUNITIES

American Red Cross Blood Services increases the availability of life-saving blood. The Susquehanna Valley chapter works with two blood regions in the local area: Northeast PA Region centered in Wilkes-Barre, and the Greater Alleghenies Region based in Johnstown.

The Red Cross seeks individuals who will volunteer at scheduled blood drives throughout the Mifflin, Juniata, Lancaster, Perry, Dauphin and Eastern Cumberland counties. You do not need to be a medical professional to be a Red Cross blood volunteer. A monthly blood drive schedule is mailed to all volunteers listing the times, locations and types of volunteers needed to help out at the blood drive.
