Red Cross promotes safety in and around the water. Volunteers help
as instructors or instructor aides for the following:

| Babysitter's
Training |
This
very popular American Red Cross course stresses safety and decision-making
for 11-15 year-olds who babysit or wish to babysit. Adult volunteers
(17+) are trained as instructors or instructor aides to teach at
any of our satellite locations. Youth volunteers can train to be
instructor aides for this course.

Education |
In
cooperation with the Centers for Disease Control, the Red Cross
is a leader in teaching the facts about HIV and AIDS. Volunteers
are needed to provide community prevention education to high-risk
populations and the general public.
